The Sainsbury Singers celebrated its 75th anniversary in fine style by holding a gala dinner for more than 90 members and friends in March at Trunkwell House, Beech Hill, near Reading.
The evening included 12 NODA long service awards to members.
Guests were serenaded on arrival by the string quartet The Belle Bows and dancing later in the evening was to the seven piece band Out Of Order with The Sainsbury Singers’ Rob Latimer on sax.
The evening raised more than £500 for the society and Crohn’s and Colitis UK, the chosen charity for The SainsburySingers this year.
